哥倫比亞大學生理學和細胞生物物理學教授Stavroula Kousteni表示，他們已經證實lipocalin-2可以穿過大腦下視丘，並抑制非人靈長類動物的食物攝取量；這次的研究結果將為下個階段的lipocalin-2臨床試驗奠定基礎。
