據韓聯社報道，韓國中央選舉管理委員會10日淩晨發布的計票數據顯示，韓國最大在野黨國民力量黨候選人尹錫悅確認在第20屆總統選舉中獲勝，當選新一任總統。
尹錫悅現年61歲，首爾大學法學碩士學歷，歷任首爾中央地 英國威馬持久液、 英國威馬使用心得、 威馬噴劑、 英國威馬哪裏買、 英國威馬持久液正品、 威馬持久液哪裏買 方檢察廳廳長和韓國檢察總長，有著20余年的檢察系統任職經歷。2016年，尹錫悅擔任「親信幹政門」特別檢察組組長期間，將韓國前總統樸槿惠、崔順實和三星電子副會長李在镕等人一並拘捕。
2018年，尹錫悅擔任首爾中央地方檢察廳廳長期間，坐鎮指揮調查韓國前總統李明博貪腐案，最終將李明博送入監獄，因積極清算積弊，被譽為「硬骨頭檢察官」。他也因此受到文在寅的賞識，於2019年被任命為檢察總長。
